Finnair Announces Flights to Canada
The airline has revealed an exciting route for Business Class travellers.

Fantastic news for Finnair Business Class travellers and beyond- the airline has just announced it will begin flights to Toronto, Canada. It will commence on 4 May 2026 and will see three weekly flights. After an 11-year hiatus, Finnair will return to Toronto, providing Business Class travellers with further options when travelling to North America.

The Finnair Business Class product is one of our most popular fares on the market. As a member of oneworld, travellers have the opportunity to accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status Credits.

The New Route and Product

The seasonal route will become the only non-stop connection between Finland and Canada. Finnair will operate three weekly flights to the city next summer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart Helsinki at 16:50 and arrive in Toronto at 18:35. The returning flight from Toronto will leave at 23:40 and arrive the following day in Helsinki at 14:45. In addition to Toronto, Finnair will fly next summer to New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle, North America.

Finnair Business Class travellers will be on the Airbus A330 aircraft. The Finnair Business Class AirLounge seat is an innovative, yet controversial, product. Although the seat itself doesn’t recline, it still turns into a fully flat bed! Enjoy the private 1-2-1 configuration with all seats featuring direct aisle access. “As many travelers head off on their summer vacations, here at Finnair, we are already looking towards 2026, and are excited to have announced Canada as our newest destination from May next year,” said Javier Roig Sanchez, Finnair’s General Manager for North America.
