Qatar Airways has been named the World’s Best Airline in the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards. After securing the second position last year, Qatar Airways surpassed Singapore Airlines to clinch the top spot. This marks a significant milestone for the airline, further solidifying its reputation for outstanding service innovation.

Qatar Airways Dominates Business Class Awards

Qatar Airways’ success extends beyond the overall best airline Skytrax Award. The carrier has also been recognised as the World’s Best Business Class Airline for 2024. The award highlights Qatar Airways commitment to providing an unparalleled travel experience for its premium cabin passengers.

Skytrax has awarded Qatar Airways with the world’s best Business Class seat, as well as the Al Mourjan Lounge in Doha being awarded as the World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge.

The 2024 Skytrax Awards also recognised several other airlines for their excellence:

World’s Best Airlines Skytrax 2024
Singapore Airlines secured the second position, maintaining its reputation for exceptional service.

Emirates claimed the third top spot, followed by ANA All Nippon Airways in fourth and Cathay Pacific in fifth.

Japan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, SWISS Airlines, British Airways and Fiji Airways rounded out the top 10.

Notably, Lufthansa ranked 18th, Etihad Airways 19th sitting under the top 20 and Air New Zealand closely followed in 22nd position.

Business Class Highlights

The awards also celebrated the best in business class, with Qatar Airways continuing its winning streak:

Turkish Airlines took the top prize, with Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines following closely.

In addition, Air Canada’s Signature Suite in Toronto was awarded the Best Business Lounge Dining.
