What You Need To Know
Qantas Frequent Flyers, will be excited to learn that from 28 August 2025 until 11.59pm (AEST) 3 September 2025 they can double their earnings on eligible QF flights during this limited-time window! However, there’s an important update to note this year. Unlike past campaigns, the bonus Status Credits earned won’t be applied to your Lifetime Status balance. Instead, they’ll only count towards your current membership year, meaning they can still help you climb tiers faster, but won’t contribute to Lifetime milestones.
One-off Loyalty Gift
In addition to the current double status credit or double points promotion, Qantas is thanking its frequent flyers with a one-off Loyalty Gift of bonus Status Credits and Qantas Points. Active Frequent Flyer members (with any points activity in the past 18 months) will automatically receive Status Credits in September 2025 based on their tier as of 28 August:
- Bronze and Silver members will receive 40 Status Credits
- Gold will receive 80 Status Credits
- Platinum will receive 150 Status Credits
- Platinum One members will receive 300 Status Credits
Lifetime Status holders, members on Status Hold, and those with complimentary status are also included. If you upgrade tiers before the credits arrive, you’ll get the higher bonus, while downgrades won’t reduce your gift. Points Club members are also in for a boost, with 2,500 Qantas Points for Points Club and 5,000 for Points Club Plus, landing by 30 September 2025. While these Status Credits don’t count toward Lifetime Status or other bonus rewards, they provide a welcome lift for travellers with no registration needed.
