We flew with Qantas from Australia to Shanghai and then back from Hong Kong on the Airline's A330. Take a look inside the Qantas A330 Business Class Cabin at the Business Suite, the Qantas Art Series Amenity Kit and the Business Class Inflight Dining.
The Seat
The Qantas A330's are fitted out with the Qantas Business Suite. Launched in 2014, the Qantas Business Suite is the top Qantas Business Class product with plenty of personal space, a 1-2-1 cabin configuration giving every passenger aisle access, and a fully flat bed. The Business Suite is the same as what is seen on the new Qantas Dreamliners with the exception of the adjustable partition between the 2 middle seats. in the A330's this partition is fixed.

Amenity Kits
The current Qantas amenity kits are from the Art Series collection launched in 2017. Each kit features the artwork of an Australian artist and is packed with ASPAR products including hand cream, lip balm, face moisturiser, Colgate toothpaste, a toothbrush, as well as earplugs, socks and a sleep mask in the same design as the bag. Inflight Dining
Australia - China
Inflight dining on our flight to Shanghai included both lunch and dinner.
Lunch started with a choice of:
- Green Pea & Mint soup
- Seared Tuna & Rice Salad
Main choice of:
- Pasta with tomato and eggplant sugo
- Grilled Chermoula Chicken
- Seared Barramundi
- Crumbed Pork Cutlet.
All main meals were served with a green leaf salad with a specialty vinaigrette from chef Neil Perry. The meal was finished with a choice of Cheese, Chocolate Malted Tart, Maggie Beer ice cream, seasonal fruit or Chocolates.
Salad of seared tuna with brown rice, edamame, cucumber, radish and sesame soy dressing.
Strozzapreti pasta with tomato and eggplant sugo, roast capsicum, basil and pecorino.
Prior to landing in Shanghai a light dinner was served with a choice of:
- Polenta with chargrilled vegetables
- Chicken ciabatta
- Egg & Garlic chive fried rice
- Beef and Potato Pot Pie
Dinner was followed by a selection of cheese served with accompaniments, gingerbread with baked rhubarb, meringue and vanilla yoghurt

Hong Kong - Australia
On the return flight, a night flight out of Hong Kong, a 3 course dinner was served after departure. Followed by breakfast prior to landing in Australia.
To Start, a choice of:
- Potato & roasted Garlic Soup
- Roasted duck salad with lychees
Main course choice of:
- Pasta with roasted cherry tomatoes
- Chicken, Ginger & Sesame Dumplings with Wonton noodles
- Seared Grouper with Herbed Potatoes
- Chinese Braised Pork with Steamed Rice
To finish a choice of Cheese, Pandan Madeleine Cake, Ice Cream, or Seasonal Fruit.
Potato and Roast Garlic Soup with Pine Nut, Raisin and Sage Burnt Butter
Chinese Braised Pork with Gai Lan, Steamed Rice, Chilli and Spring Onion.
Prior to landing breakfast was served with a choice of:
- Orange Juice
- Apple Juice
- Papaya, Lychee & Banana Energizer
- Pear & Ginger Muffin
- Fruit Salad
- Yoghurt
- Brookfarm Macadamia toasted Muesli with Cranberries
- Scrambled Eggs with Bacon, Spinach & Caramelised onion

Both flights with Qantas were extremely comfortable, the meals were tasty and fresh, and we managed to get about 5 hours sleep on the overnight flight.
