This month Start Alliance unveiled their refurbished lounge at the Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport, which first opened in 2008. The lounge which was inspired by Parisian design and architecture is 980 square metres and has seating for more than 220 guests.
The lounge is in Terminal 1 at the highest point of the building in level 10 and 11 after passport control and is open daily from 5:30am to 10pm (depending on flight schedule). The Lounge is available for First and Business class passengers as well as Star Alliance Gold members on the following Star Alliance airlines, Aegean, Air China, ANA, Asiana, EGYPTAIR, Eva Air, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Turkis Airlines and United. The unique location of the lounge provides panoramic views of the airport, as well as a landscaped garden, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas Paris is known for before their flight.
The refurbishment also upgraded the catering options in the lounge to include a wider range of options for today's traveller. Including complimentary drinks and a selection of hot and cold menus featuring some typically French delights.
Along with new dining options, the lounge also features a wide range of different zones for passengers to relax or work in, with complimentary WiFi and increase power sockets so you are always connected. Shower facilities, television screens and a wide range of international newspapers and magazines are also available.
The Charles De Gaulle Lounge joins seven other Star Alliance lounges around the world including Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Nagoya, Rio de Janeiro, Rome and Sao Paulo.
