Customers travelling in Singapore Airlines First Class will soon be able to enjoy the exquisite taste of Taittinger Comtes de Champagne from 27 October 2019.

This champagne was chosen by Singapore Airlines Wine Panel comprising of world-renowned wine experts Michael Hill-Smith, Jeannie Cho Lee and Oz Clarke by conducting blind tastings of wines from many of the worlds most famous wine regions, before selecting Comtes de Champagne for its exceptional quality and taste.
Produced by the prestigious family-owned champagne house Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs is produced only in the best years, composed exclusively of Chardonnay grown in five Grand Crus vineyards, and only first press wine (the ‘cuvée’) is used to give it an absolute guarantee of quality. With strict criteria governing its production and a long maturation period of eight to 10 years, the bottles are not produced in large volumes, making it a rare and celebrated wine.
Each year more than 350,000 bottles of Champagne are served on Singapore Airlines flights, Comtes de Champagne joins two other Champagnes in First Class, Dom Pérignon and Krug Grand Cuvée.
Comtes de Champagne will be first served on flights to Auckland, Beijing, Delhi, Dubai, Melbourne, Mumbai, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo (Haneda) from 27 October 2019 to February 2020 before being rotated to other routes.

The introduction of Comtes de Champagne joins Singapore Airlines other upcoming First Class updates. From mid-November 2019, customers will receive a special edition unisex amenity kit including an iconic crystal fish from renowned luxury French crystal maker Lalique. To accompany the new Champagne customers can also look forward to an enhanced caviar service that will be expanded to more flights from 2020. These updates along with the introduction of Comtes de Champagne represent Singapore Airline’s commitment to provide their customers with one of the finest air travel experiences in the world.
