Emirates bring forward the return of the A380 to Perth

Sun, 04 Sep 2022

Emirates are bringing forward the return of their A380 to Perth. Originally planned for a start date of 1 December, the Dubai to Perth route will now begin the daily service a month earlier on 1 November.

There has been a strong demand for bookings to and from Australia across all cabins and Emirates have capitalised on this by bringing back the A380, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER which currently operates this route. The change in aircraft will allow for more than 150 extra seats on each flight across Economy, Business Class and First Class. No Premium Economy will be offered.

As part of the A380 service, Business Class and First Class passengers will have access to the Emirates signature cocktail bar on board while First Class passengers will also have the option of enjoying an inflight shower.

EK420 will depart Dubai daily at 2:45am, arriving into Perth at 5:20pm the same day, while EK421 will depart Perth daily at 10:20pm and arrive into Dubai at 5:25am the following morning.

The return of the A380 marks the 20 year anniversary of Emirates flying to Perth and allows Australian passengers access to Emirates extensive network of over 150 global destinations.
