Virgin Australia has announced that they will begin flights to Japan from March 2020, the flights will be between Brisbane and Haneda airport in Tokyo, giving 100,000 Australian travellers access to downtown Tokyo.

The airline has also announced a codeshare agreement with Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) to give their customers more travel destinations across Japan domestically.
