United Airlines has unveiled new, limited-edition Wrexham AFC amenity kits and pyjamas, celebrating the football team’s promotion to League One and their rising global popularity, boosted by the Emmy award-winning show “FX’s Welcome to Wrexham”.

A cleverly collated collaboration between a rising Welsh football team and a major American airline emphasises United’s commitment to expanding its network into Western Europe.

Starting from 1 June, passengers travelling in United’s premium cabins on long-haul international routes will receive these complimentary Wrexham AFC-themed amenity kits.

These kits include travel essentials such as an eye mask, toothbrush, and toothpaste, alongside exclusive Therabody skincare products.

Additionally, United Polaris passengers on flights exceeding 24 hours will be provided with pyjamas inspired by the team's uniforms, featuring a long-sleeve red shirt and grey trousers.

Not only is United increasing its brand awareness through thoughtful collaborations; but the offering of limited edition pyjamas only on United Polaris Business Class entices travellers more to check out the new premium cabin product.

United and Wrexham AFC collaborated on the design of these kits and pyjamas, which draw inspiration from the team’s crest, jerseys and overall aesthetic. The offerings include:

• United x Wrexham AFC Amenity Case: Available to United Polaris Business Class travellers, this reusable toiletry case features the wrexham crest and comes in red, black or white. It includes a top handle, wrap-around zipper, and a loop to hang the bag for convenience.
• United x Wrexham Amenity Pouch: For United Premium Plus passengers, this reusable zippered pouch also showcases the Wrexham crest and is available in red, black or white. Its slim design ensures it fits easily into a carry-on bag.
• United Wrexham AFC Pyjamas: Offered to United Polaris Business Class passengers on flights lasting 14 hours or more, this lightweight pyjama set includes a red long-sleeve shirt with the Wrexham AFC United logos on the front, designed to resemble the team jersey, along with grey trousers featuring the United logo on the hip.

Each amenity kit contains United-exclusive Therabody hand cream, lip balm, and a cleansing towelette, along with travel essentials including a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye masks, ear plugs, and socks. United Polaris kits also include a Therabody eye serum, face spray, tissues, and a United pen.

Peter Wolkowski, Director of Onboard Product Design at United, expressed excitement about offering unique, team-branded amenities, highlighting the widespread interest in Wrexham’s celebrated journey.

United’s partnership with Wrexham AFC also includes sponsorship of the men’s and women’s teams, with their logo featured on the shirts during matches and support for the club’s North American summer tour.
