Sydney to San Francisco announced as next Qantas Dreamliner Destination
Qantas has announced that the popular Californian city San Francisco will be the next route for the Dreamliner, joining Los Angeles, New York, London, and Hong Kong.

Qantas has announced that the popular Californian city San Francisco will be the next route for the Dreamliner, joining Los Angeles, New York, London, and Hong Kong. From December travellers will be able to experience all of the Dreamliner’s features including the next generation Economy, Premium Economy and Business cabins.

The additional route is timed with the delivery of six additional Dreamliners to the airline, the more efficient aircraft will gradually replace the Boeing 747 aircraft used in Qantas’ international network by the end of 2020.

The Sydney-San Francisco Dreamliner service will operate daily, along with the existing Qantas Dreamliner service between Melbourne and San Francisco which operates four times a week.

The Qantas Dreamliner has been described as the most comfortable aircraft Qantas has ever flown. With everything from the seats and anti-jetlag measures continues to exceed expectations.

With the additional six new Dreamliners, Qantas will have a total fleet of 14 Dreamliners in the second half of 2020. The aircraft carries 236 passengers across three cabins, featuring the latest version of the Business Suite, which has been nicknamed “mini First Class” by frequent flyers. Along with this is the next generation Premium Economy Seat and a significantly improved Economy seat with extra storage and more legroom.
