SWISS Business Class Inflight Dining
The inflight business class dining service started soon after boarding with the offer of a welcome drink and snack as the rest of the plane prepared for take off.

SWISS Business Class Welcome drink and snack

For dinner, business class passengers have an option of a 3 course meal, or a quicker small meal if you’d prefer to settle into bed. The quick option consists of a starter, cup of soup, salad cheese and dessert that is served all at once shortly after take off. We opted for the leisurely dinner option which is served in a restaurant style, one course at a time.

First course options included a vela carpaccio served with mushroom puree and pickled vegetables or a salmon sashimi, both served with a seasonal salad. We chose the salmon sashimi which was very fresh and tasty.

Main course consisted of a Veal Ragout served with roasted bramata, Sauteeed cod fillet, or a Vegetarian penne with mushroom cream sauce. The meal was served with a selection of Swiss cheeses, a side salad and your choice of a range of wine, beer and soft drinks.

The main meal was finished with a Chocolate Slice served with a plum mousse which was delicious!

SWISS Business Class Dessert

Waking with a couple of hours left in the flight I enjoyed my pre-ordered breakfast at a leisurely pace. My Breakfast included a poached egg with hollandaise sauce, bircher muesli, fresh fruit, croissants, coffee and juice. Other Options included adding a Swiss breakfast of cold cuts and cheese, an Asian breakfast of Congee, Danish pastries, yoghurt, and a range of Teas.

Throughout the meal the flight attendants offered me the option to add items I hadn’t initially selected, you certainly won’t go hungry!

Overall there was plenty of food offered onboard and the business class meals were of a high standard, the ease to order and the wide range of meals available meant for a very pleasant inflight dining experience.
