Swiss Air is known for taking its passengers on a culinary journey through its home country’s various regions. This is under the ‘SWISS Taste of Switzerland’ inflight culinary programme which has been running for 21 years now.
Every three months, a new top chef is asked to create a varied selection of quality dishes from their ‘home’ region. This is done through the collaboration with catering partner, Gategourmet.
Chefs are invited to serve aboard meals as well as wines and cheeses from the region concerned. Gategourmet ensures that all these meal creations arrive on board in the finest possible quality.
“The concoctions of Manuel Steigmeier blend classic elements with a fresh creative touch – a combination that fits excellently with SWISS,” says SWISS Head of Brand Experience Julia Hillenbrand.
“And I’m delighted that we can now take our inflight guests, too, on this exciting
culinary journey.”
