The cabin configuration has been confirmed for the SWISS Airbus A350-900, due in 2025. This comes nine months after the Star Alliance member announced that it would be ordering five A350s to replace its less efficient, 4 engine A340 fleet. Featuring the new ‘SWISS Senses’ cabin concept, the expansion of the Premium Economy product will make it the aircraft with the highest number of seats in this class among the airline’s fleet.
SWISS A350 First Class
SWISS has opted for a four-class layout that will seat a total of 242 passengers. There will be 3 available in First Class, 45 in Business Class and 38 in Premium Economy and 156 in Economy Class. Being a partner of the Lufthansa Group, we will see the airline adopt the same ‘Allegris’ First Class suites and Business Class seats as Lufthansa. There will be just one row of First Class on the A350, with each of the three suites enclosed by 1.8m high walls, with a sliding panel that can be closed for privacy.
