Starlux Airlines has announced it will be launching direct flights between Sydney and Taipei next year, marking a major milestone in the airline's ongoing global expansion efforts. The service will also include Auckland as a trans-Tasman leg. This development will strengthen connectivity between Australia and Taiwan while also introducing direct competition with China Airlines, which currently flies to Taipei from Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane - as well as EVA Air, which operates between Brisbane to Taipei.
“As we continue expanding globally, we remain committed to elevating our service standards and ensuring every Starlux journey remains refined, reliable, and memorable,” said Starlux Airline CEO, Glenn Chai.
