Singapore Airlines has announced the return of its non-stop flights between Singapore and Sapporo New Chitose Airport from 1 December 2024 to 31 January 2025. They will operate the five-times weekly services with the medium-haul variety of its Airbus A2350-900 aircraft. This will allow travellers to fly directly to Hokkaido for the peak ski season.
These flights were last in service on 6 January 2020, with the pandemic being a result of their absence. This has resulted in many travellers having to make connections in other Japanese cities like Tokyo and Fukuoka in order to reach Sapporo from Singapore with a full-service carrier.
