Singapore Airlines together with Singapore-based wellness brand COMO Shambhala have curated wellness dishes to be served on selected Singapore Airlines flights from September 2019. The wellness cuisine is part of the airline's continual improvements to enhance the customer's well-being and travel experience.
From September travellers can look forward to enjoying a menu of healthy and flavourful dishes, that not only taste great but have been tailored to nourish the body and alleviate travel-induced stresses such as fatigue. Ingredients such as kiwi, yoghurt, beetroot and strawberries which are rich in antioxidants and micronutrients, come together to create immune-boosting dishes that will help customers feel refreshed after a long flight. Other dishes aim to promote good digestion and circulation for a more comfortable journey.
The new menu will be available on selected flights departing Singapore to Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in First and Business class. Customers in First, Business and Premium Economy class will be able to pre-order from the wellness menu via ‘Book the Cook’ on all routes departing from Singapore.
