Qatar Airways Qsuite 777-300 Review
Find out about the Qatar Airways Business Class 777-300 product by reading Nat’s review.

On a recent trip to France, one of airfare consultants, Nat, experienced the Qatar Airways Business Class 777-300. After spending a few days in Paris for a cruise, Nat was on her journey home on QR42 from Paris to Doha.

Qatar Airways Business Class leads the way for inflight comfort, being voted the Worlds Best Business Class in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024 by Skytrax for their prestigious Qsuites, along with the Best Business Class Airline Lounges award in 2021. If you’re travelling to Europe, we would highly recommend it! Similar to the A350 aircraft's Qsuite, make sure to check out our review on that product!

Qsuite 777 Welcome Drink

Qatar Airways Qsuite Check In, Boarding and Welcome

After checking in, we received so much conflicting advice from staff at the airport that we didn't even get the chance to go to the lounge. When we asked, staff told us that it was 'past security', but once we were past security, they told us it was before security and that we wouldn't be able to head back.

Once we boarded the plane, we sat on the tarmac for about 3 hours as there was a security breach and a passenger who wasn't supposed to be onboard had somehow boarded. Not that I was complaining as it meant 3 extra hours to enjoy the Qsuite.

Despite these challenges, Qatar Airways Business Class staff were wonderful and accommodating.

Qsuite 777 Business Class Middle Seats

Qatar Airways Qsuite Seat and Cabin

Seat-wise, it was much of a muchness to the first A350 Qsuite experience but just on a daytime flight. I always enjoy daytime flights more than overnight flights as I love to look out the window and watch back-to-back movies without the need to sleep. Two added benefits to the daytime flight was that we got to see the spectacular views of the Zagros Mountains from above, which rivalled the views flying over the Swiss Alps in my opinion. The other was that we could see numerous other aircrafts travelling on the narrow passage of safe airspace over the Middle East. An Emirates A380 travelling in the opposite direction and a Finnair A350 travelling alongside us for the majority of the trip was a plane-spotters dream.

The biggest difference I noticed with this aircraft was that there was much more head-room above the suite before the storage bins started. It felt so much more spacious and it made me question why I had felt differently on the ADL-DOH flight, putting it down to a nighttime flight and first experience with the Qsuite. However, upon boarding the flight from DOH-ADL, I learnt that it was indeed a lower ceiling on the A350 and it was back to the cramped feeling.

Qatar Airways Qsuite Dining and Beverages

I enjoyed the convenience of the on-demand à la carte menu where I could order at any point during my flight. This is only available when travelling in First or Business Class.

Once we took off, my Bircher Muesli and assorted pastries arrived for a deliciously light breakfast and mid-way through the flight I thought it was time to try the infamous Arabic mezze platter...it did not disappoint. The Bircher Muesli and Mezze were the two stand-out dishes across all the flights for me.

Qatar Airways Qsuite Summary

Similar to my previous Qsuite experience, Qatar Airways Business Class on the 777-300 did not disappoint. Once the airline got through the hiccups at the start, it was just brilliant the whole way. This short-haul flight had the most stand out dining for me and the service was impeccable. It made me even more excited for the 14-hour flight on the way home!

Qatar Airways Qsuites are always a winning product when it comes to flying to Europe. If you’re looking at flights, we’d suggest getting touch with one of our airfare specialists who can find you a deal!
