Malaysia Airlines has just announced it’s taking significant steps to expand, starting with an upgrade to the Adelaide-Kuala Lumpur route. From November 2025, the airline will increase its service offerings from five to six flights per week. By February 2026, Malaysia Airlines will operate the route daily, providing more travel options for Business Class travellers. Alongside this, the airline will introduce the Airbus A330neo, a modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, to this route. The Adelaide upgrade complements Malaysia Airlines’ existing Australian network, which already includes three daily flights from both Sydney and Melbourne, as well as regular services from Brisbane and Perth, with further expansion on the horizon.
Expect a comfortable and spacious journey on Malaysia Airlines Business Class. It’s one of our most popular partner airlines for customers flying with Oman Air. This is due to the codeshare agreement between the two airlines. Travelling on an Oman Air Business Class deal will allow passengers to get between Australia and Europe with transits in key Asian gateways and in their hub, Muscat. Often, passengers will fly Malaysia Airlines to Kuala Lumpur and continue the rest of their journey with Oman Air.
