Etihad is finally bringing the A380 superjumbo back to the skies!
After grounding all ten of their superjumbos at the beginning of the pandemic and stating there were no plans to reintroduce the aircraft, Etihad have announced 4 x A380’s will return to the skies, and will begin to operate the Abu Dhabi to London route from mid 2023.
The return of the double decker aircraft is due to a strong surge in travel demand and with a total of 485 seats, it will increase capacity on the route and allow the airline to launch new destinations in the future.
The A380 features 70 Business Class Studio’s and 9 First Class apartment suites in a 1-1 configuration with a wide leather lounge chair and an ottoman that converts into a fully flat bed.
