Etihad Announces Twice Daily Departures From Sydney

Etihad Airways has announced the introduction of double-daily flights between Sydney and Abu Dhabi. Starting 15 December 2026, the new flight is designed to complement the existing schedule, offering improved connection opportunities.

What is The New Etihad Airways Schedule?

There will be more than 5,000 seats available each week in each direction on the Airbus A350. Etihad Business Class passengers will benefit from increased choice and more convenient departure times, all whilst travelling in utmost comfort. EY455 departs Sydney at 21:30 and arrives in Abu Dhabi the next day at 05:00 in the morning. The flight home, EY454, leaves Abu Dhabi at 21:05 and lands in Sydney at 17:45 the next evening. The new schedule will add in an extra daily flight. EY451 departs Sydney at 16:50 and arrives just after midnight at 00:25 the following day. On EY450, depart Abu Dhabi at 09:55 and land in Sydney the next morning at 06:30. These services are now available to be booked.
