Etihad Updated Dreamliner Product

The new Dreamliners, replacing the older 787-9s on the route, are fitted with the superior Business Studio product- the same seat you’ll find on their Airbus A380. Its total seats increased to 303, with Business Class up from 26 to 32. All have in-seat charging, new entertainment systems and access to high-speed onboard Wi-Fi.

All services between Australia and Abu Dhabi now feature its latest-generation cabins, and it’s the only Gulf carrier to offer ‘fully-enclosed doored premium cabins’ on all Australian flights. Choose from rear-facing seats that convert to a 192cm fully flat bed, or forward-facing seats that turn into a 204cm flat bed. Either way, you’ll have plenty of space to unwind and relax.

From the plush details, spacious suite to decadent onboard dining and top-calibre service, Etihad’s Business Studio is a sensational product. We would definitely recommend it for long-haul travel if you’re looking for ultimate comfort.

Updated Product in Sydney

Late last year, Etihad transitioned to an all A350-1000 operation on its Sydney-Abu Dhabi route, accelerating the schedule by two months due to strong demand. By introducing the newest Boeing 787-9 to Melbourne, further reinforces the airline’s commitment to delivering an elevated travel experience for all Australian guests.

Javier Alija, vice president, global sales and distribution of Etihad Airways, spoke on the updated product in Sydney.

“Transitioning Sydney to all-A350 reflects our long-standing commitment to delivering a superior experience for Australian guests,” Javier said.

“The change sees our Boeing 777-300ER exit Australian skies, with both Sydney and Melbourne being flown with the latest luxury Etihad product across all cabins.”
