Emirates Expands Newly Refurbished Boeing 777 Network to Key Routes
Emirates has announced plans to introduce its newly refurbished Boeing 777 to major cities, starting from October 1, 2024.

Emirates has announced plans to introduce its newly refurbished Boeing 777 to two major cities, Zurich and Riyadh, from 1 October 2024. The airline will also lay on upgraded Boeing 777s to Geneva and Brussels, making them the first two cities in the Emirate’s network to have retrofitted Boeing 777 cabins on all flights.

The Routes

More passengers flying with Emirates will get to experience its newly developed Business Class cabin on the Boeing 777 once they roll out over the next few weeks.
The refurbished Boeing 777s will run as follows:

  • Starting from October 1, 2024, Emirates will operate to Zurich on its enhanced Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.
  • To Riyadh for the first time ever, Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777 will feature its latest cabins. Flying as EK 819 and EK 820 from October 1, 2024, this will be the first debut of Emirates’ Premium Economy in the Middle East/GCC.
  • Geneva will become the first city on the airline’s network to offer newly refreshed Business Class cabins and Premium Economy seats on all flights. From 22 September 2024, passengers flying to Geneva will experience the introduction of the retrofitted Boeing 777 on flight EK 89 and EK 90.
  • Emirates will also operate its refurbished Boeing 777 to Brussels six times weekly, on flights EK 181 and EK 182 from 9 October, 2024.

With this expansion of newly refurbished aircrafts flying to major cities, Emirates will present customers with a better experience across every cabin class, not only the Emirates Business Class cabin.

Currently, 25 aircrafts have been enhanced, with 17 more to go by December 2024.
