Recently our CEO, Anthony, and his wife had the chance to enjoy Emirates’ Business Class Lounge at the Milano Malpensa airport before they flew to Dubai on Emirates A380-800 Business Class.

The airline has received several awards, including "Best Overall Airline in the Middle East" at the 2026 APEX Awards. Emirates Business Class Lounge Milan Location and Seating

The dedicated Emirates lounge was located in Terminal 1 near gates B50-B59 which was a short walk after clearing through passport control. We were lucky to be some of the first guests in the lounge for the day and it was very modern and felt new - we found out later it had recently been renovated and only recently opened again. The staff at the door were friendly and explained that our flight would be called when ready and we could board directly from the lounge which was a great benefit.

There was plenty of seating and multiple areas to choose from depending if you wanted to relax, work or dine. We chose some seats near the food area but with a view outside to watch the planes going past and taking off. There were also some seats that reclined but not many, most were comfy enough and there were plenty of magazines and some TVs around to keep you entertained if needed.

Bar and Dining Options

Within the lounge there were a couple of bars where you could help yourself to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and there were floating staff who were happy to serve you if you preferred. The bottled water was high end and there were even instructions on how to make an Aperol Spritz with all the required ingredients - this was one of our drinks of choice while in the heat of Europe. Next to this was a tea station and a coffee machine which we didn’t try but I overheard someone say it was nice coffee.

The food section of the Emirates Business Class lounge had a broad mix of options and we tried most of them over the couple of hours we had in the lounge. First up we enjoyed the fresh salad bar where you could make your own salad including delicious dips and breads. We then tried a selection of the hot food which ranged from beef fillet to chicken medallions to pasta to a fish dish as well as potatoes and vegetables. Everything we tried had great flavour and didn’t last long on our plate. There was also a curry with rice, pappadums and an assortment of breads too.

The dessert bar was equally tasty and had some fresh fruit but mainly cheese and sweet desserts. We ended up only having cheese and some fruit as we were going to eat again on the plane in a few hours time, but the apple meringue tart and Sachertorte (chocolate sponge cake) looked very yummy. Throughout our time in the Emirates Business Class lounge the staff regularly brought out new hot dishes, replenished the self service sections and were attentive to anything we needed.

Facilities in Emirates Business Class Lounge Milan

We didn’t use any of the other facilities there except the bathrooms, but there was an option to have a shower to freshen up if needed. When our flight was ready for boarding the staff announced this throughout the lounge and then directed us to the direct boarding gate that led straight onto the plane. This was very convenient and having easy access like that means we could enjoy relaxing in the lounge for as long as possible before having to board our flight.

Boarding Directly From Lounge

Overall we really enjoyed the lounge even though it wasn’t one of the best we’ve been to in recent years. It had all the amenities we needed and as it was recently renovated, it had an elegant and modern look and feel to it. The food was of a high standard and the service was excellent so all round a great experience. Boarding directly from the lounge was an added bonus that we didn't expect either.

Emirates Business Class is definitely worth it, especially for travellers doing long-haul flights to Europe, Africa or the rest of the Middle East. To see this great lounge for yourself, please get in touch with an Airfare Specialist who can discuss some options with you!
