Retrofitted Emirates Boeing 777 Sees Expansion to Eight More Cities
The expansion follows Emirates' decision to expand the Boeing 777 fleet refurbishment programme to cover more than 220 aircrafts!

The recently retrofitted Emirates Boeing 777 is set to be introduced to eight more destinations on its route network.

Travellers eager to experience the aircraft’s nose-to-tail facelift on Business Class flights to Portugal and Ireland can look forward to the expansion! Currently, Emirates’ Business Class fares start from $8,691 for flights from Perth to Frankfurt.

What Cities Have Been Added?

Aiming to serve 44 cities with the refurbished Emirates Boeing 777 by September 2025, these are the airline's newest additions.

The latest Business Class and Premium Economy cabins will debut in Dublin on EK 161/162 from 25 June. Lisbon will receive the upgraded Emirates Boeing 777 cabins from 1 June, which include EK 191/192 and EK 193/194.

Hong Kong will be the second Chinese destination served by the retrofitted aircraft from 15 July on the EK 382/383. Meanwhile, the Maldives will be granted the refreshed interiors on EK 658/659 from 1 June, followed by EK 656/657 and EK 660/661 from 15 July. The aircraft will also service Kolkata starting 10 August on EK 572/573 in four weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Colombo receives the refurbished interiors from 10 August on daily EK 650/651 flights.

Johannesburg will receive Emirates Boeing 777 on its daily EK 765/766 from 1 September, followed by EK 761/762 on 25 September. Cape Town will also receive updates on its daily EK 770/771 from 20 September.

In addition to these cities, London Stansted will receive its second daily service with the refurbishments on the EK 067/068 from 1 June.
