Cathay Pacific are Set to increase capacity from Sydney to Hong Kong with an upgrade in aircraft.
Currently 2 of Cathay’s daily flights are operated by Boeing 777-300ER’s with another 2 daily flights operated by the smaller A330, come October this will increase to 3 daily flights operated by 777’s, leaving just 1 service operated by the A330.
The upgrade in aircraft was brought about by an increase in demand by passengers. Switching from the A330 to the 777 means there will be an additional 168 Business Class seats each week.
Cathay Pacific’s 777-300ER business class features fully flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration
