Air New Zealand are set to add 8 new 787-10 Dreamliners to their fleet. The new state of the art aircraft will be added to the airline's existing fleet of 787-9 Dreamliners.
The new planes, which have 15% more space for passengers compared to the 787-9 Dreamliners, will replace Air New Zealand’s aging fleet of 777-200s.
Replacing the 777’s with the new Dreamliners will mean an increase in fuel efficiency of 25% and ensure that Air New Zealand continue to operate one of the world's youngest and most efficient fleets.
The 787 Dreamliner is generally considered the superior aircraft currently in the skies with larger, shadeless windows, better air quality to reduce jetlag, reduced noise levels, and a smoother ride.
