Qantas Dreamliner Routes

Fri, 20 Jan 2017

Qantas Dreamliners will soon be seen crossing the skies of Australia. The airline is launching their brand new aircraft on flights from Melbourne to Los Angeles starting in December 2017 and Perth to London (the first ever Australia to Europe direct flight) in March 2018.

The new Dreamliners will carry 236 passengers including 46 Business Class suites. The business class suites feature the popular Skybed (with a new retractable screen between seats) in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing all passengers with direct aisle access.

Qantas Skybeds convert into a 60cm wide x 2m long fully flat bed, which can be reclined during takeoff and landing and include a 16” personal entertainment system, plus in seat USB and PC Charging. Business Class passengers also have access to the Business Class Self Serve Bar for drinks and snacks throughout the flight.

The Melbourne - LAX Dreamliner service will run alongside the current A380 service, taking the total departures on this route up to 13 a week, offering passengers a morning or afternoon departure option on most days. If you are looking to specifically fly on a Dreamliner please let your consultant know and they will ensure you are booked on the correct departure.

The new Dreamliners are described as a “game changing aircraft” that has been designed with passenger comfort in mind with larger windows, smoother ride and better air quality to reduce jetlag.
